Job Summary
Pali Momi Medical Center is seeking a Diagnostic Radiographic Angiographer to join our team. Located in Central and West O'ahu, we offer a wide range of services including an interventional cardiac catheterization unit, minimally invasive surgical suite, and a comprehensive women’s center.
About the Role
Under the general direction of the Manager or Supervisor of Imaging Services or designee, this position performs diagnostic radiographic angiography procedures on patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI and will be able to work in a rotating schedule of 8 hours.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic radiographic angiography procedures on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Prepares and positions patients for imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operates equipment to capture high-quality images, adjusting settings as necessary.
- Documents patient information accurately and maintains detailed records of procedures performed.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements
- Must meet education requirements for Hawaii state licensing OR formal training in MRI.
- Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license OR Registered MRI Tech with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Qualifications
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Experience with Pediatric protocols preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in MRI and related imaging techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
