MRI Technologist III, PD
We are looking for a skilled MRI Technologist to competently perform routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, producing high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers. You will work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to deliver safe, precise, and timely results. Your role involves patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication to ensure patient cooperation and optimal care. You will adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to maintain privacy and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate results.
- Assess patients, monitor their condition, and communicate effectively to gain their cooperation.
- Adhere to all regulatory, privacy, and safety standards.
- May perform specific procedures and assist in orienting new staff to the department.
Requirements
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technologist Program or a Magnetic Resonance Program (required prior to start date).
- One of the following certifications (required prior to start date):
- CRT – Certified Radiologic Technologist
- ARMRIT – Certified MRI Technologist
- ARRT (MRI) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MRI)
- BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- CVENI – Certified Venipuncture (if required by the entity).

Pay
$73.46 to $102.84 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on geographic location, candidate experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
Schedule
- Shift: Days (Part Time, 12-hour shifts).
- Days of the Week: Variable.
- Weekend Requirements: As needed.
- Weekly Hours: Varies (Per Diem/Casual, Non-Exempt).
