About the role

The MRI Technologist will perform standard clinical and advanced research magnetic resonance imaging. These responsibilities include patient assistance and positioning in the scanner, and collection of imaging data according to standard protocols both with and without MR contrast agents.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard clinical and advanced research magnetic resonance imaging
• Patient assistance and positioning in the scanner
• Capture imaging data according to standard protocols
• Collect imaging data with and without MR contrast agents

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience as an MRI Technologist performing clinical diagnostic imaging
• Certified and Registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging from either ARRT or ARMRI
• Skilled in delivery of patient care and MRI procedures, start IV (including difficult sticks), contrast administration, and collection of imaging data according to standard protocols
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in English
• Experience with operation of MR scanner and peripheral instrumentation (e.g., contrast injector, GFR measurement, etc.)

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

• Skilled in delivery of patient care and MRI procedures, start IV (including difficult sticks), contrast administration, and collection of imaging data according to standard protocols
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills in English
• Experience with operation of MR scanner and peripheral instrumentation (e.g., contrast injector, GFR measurement, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a Siemens platform is preferable
• 3-5 years of MRI experience
• Experience with pediatric imaging
• Excellent initiative, independence and problem-solving skills
• Experience in EPIC

Pay

$85,000 - About This Position

Monday - Friday; usually 8 hour shifts during the day
