About the role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and maintain technical proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment according to protocols, review images for quality, and ensure safety compliance.
- Verify patient identity, prepare patients, and provide education and comfort.
- Assist and instruct students and colleagues on procedures and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate records, adhere to safety and infection control standards, and manage documentation, coding, and reporting.
- Operate information systems and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Requirements
- Certification from ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or equivalent, with BLS certification.
- Knowledge of anatomy, imaging evaluation, contrast protocols, and MRI safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
- Manual dexterity, physical ability to lift and transport patients and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of MRI experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
