About the role
Operate MRI and radiology imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic images for patient assessment and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, position patients, and select appropriate technical parameters for imaging.
- Perform patient screening, scheduling, and education related to imaging procedures.
- Transfer and monitor patient data, ensuring high-quality images are submitted to PACS.
- Administer contrast media or medications within scope and regulations.
- Maintain equipment functionality, report malfunctions, and uphold department cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.
- One year of direct imaging experience.
- Credentialing from ARMRIT, ARRT, or equivalent within 12 months of hire.
- Physical ability for constant standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.
- Proficiency in communication, attention to detail, and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Certifications: BLS-HCP, ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT.
