Role Overview: The MRI Technologist operates imaging equipment, primarily MRI systems, to support diagnosis and treatment. The role emphasizes patient safety, high-quality imaging standards, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Operate MRI imaging equipment and software effectively.Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.Maintain high standards of image quality.Assist in diagnosis and treatment planning through precise imaging. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with clinical experience (experience levels vary by role).Possession of ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification or eligible for registry within 6 months.State licensure may be required depending on location.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Preferred certifications include MRSO or MRSE.Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. Key Duties: Operate MRI equipment, ensure safety and image quality, collaborate with healthcare teams, and adhere to certification and licensure requirements.
