MRI Technologist DAYS
Job Summary
As a MRI Technologist DAYS with Alaska Regional Hospital, you will perform MRI examinations under the direction of a physician, demonstrating professional knowledge to provide care for patients in the Imaging department. You will be expected to perform all responsibilities with minimal supervision and the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-MR)
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date (ARRT-MR)
- Vocational School Graduate (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARRT-R) Radiography
What You Will Do
You will perform MRI examinations, assess patients, treat/care for patients, and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs. You will also be responsible for advanced knowledge of MRI equipment, examinations, and working with students and staff teaching MRI technology.
