MRI Technologist, Chicago Southland
About the role
We are seeking a Mobile MRI Technologist to join our dynamic team at an exciting time for Scan.com. Our mobile units are permanently parked, offering a stable home base for you to deliver exceptional care. You will be responsible for the entire patient experience, from safety screening to high-fidelity imaging, ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of ACR compliance.
Responsibilities
Execute high-quality MRI scans with a focus on diagnostic excellence and patient comfort.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining MRI procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging exams.
Take full ownership of our Siemens Espree systems, ensuring the system performs at peak levels.
Manage documentation of daily QC/QA procedures required for safety and accreditation.
Lead patient screening and safety protocols to ensure a seamless, anxiety-free experience for every visitor.
Act as the first line of defense for the unit by identifying equipment issues and collaborating with Field Service Engineers.
Utilize Acuity Scheduling and Google Workspace to manage patient flow and maintain digital records.
Qualifications
You hold a current ARRT (MR) credential.
You have extensive experience specifically navigating and scanning on Siemens Espree MRI systems.
You have a proven track record of obtaining or maintaining ACR certification for MRI facilities.
You have a deep understanding of MRI safety protocols and rigorous screening procedures.
You are comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and communicating effectively with engineers and stakeholders.
You are proficient with Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets).
