MRI Technologist

Days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7am-7:30pm with weekend call rotation.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician. MRI Technologists ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program (ARRT-RT(R) Radiography, ARRT-MR Magnetic Resonance Imaging, MRT Magnetic Resonance Technologist, or ARMRIT American Registry of MRI Technologists).
• Two years of experience preferred.
