MRI Technologist
About the role
The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
Responsibilities
- Takes responsibility for the quality of patient care provided during MRIs
- Performs MRIs using advanced imaging techniques and equipment
- Ensures patient safety and comfort during exams
- Advises patients on proper preparation for MRIs
- Documents patient information accurately and comprehensively
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate imaging results
Requirements
- Current Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
Qualifications
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Experience with MRI equipment and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
$46.81 - $72.66 per hour
Schedule
Full-time/Day Shift - (3) 12-hour shifts - Friday - Sunday
