MRI Technologist
About the role
The MRI Technologist performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account an individual patient’s special or age-related needs. They utilize knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images.
Responsibilities
- Takes and processes MRIs according to physician orders
- Utilizes knowledge and judgment in imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment
- Ensures optimal image quality
- Advises patients on the MRI procedure and answers their questions
- Documents patient information accurately and comprehensively
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely imaging
Requirements
- Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- OrNational Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire
Qualifications

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $46.81 - $72.66.
Schedule
This position is full-time and works evening shifts.
