About the role
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a healthcare team in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate MRI scans and review patient histories for safety concerns
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort
- Administer contrast agents following safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists for precise imaging
- Monitor and maintain MRI equipment
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring junior staff
- Document findings and report abnormalities
Requirements
- ARRT certification (MRI or Radiologic Technology)
- BLS certification
- Prior experience with MRI equipment in clinical settings
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- ARMRIT certification
- Specialized MRI training
- Experience in high-volume or emergency environments
