MRI Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for patient assessment and treatment. Responsibilities: Prepare, position, and image patients accurately using appropriate parameters.Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education.Manage patient data entry and image transfer to PACS.Administer contrast media or medications within scope and regulations.Ensure high-quality images with proper documentation and markers.Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions.Keep the department clean and organized.Adhere to safety protocols and perform additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills: Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.Certification through ARRT-MR or ARMRIT within 12 months of hire.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
