MRI Technologist

About the role

This position involves operating specialized equipment to perform magnetic imaging procedures. The technologist will work onsite, performing diagnostic imaging in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized MRI equipment to perform imaging procedures.
• Work onsite in a healthcare setting.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain and report on the condition of MRI equipment.

Requirements

• Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy and physical sciences.
• Knowledge of MRI physics and procedures.
• Experience with imaging technology systems.
• Ability to educate patients about imaging procedures.
• IV Certification required.
• Two years of experience in MRI imaging.
• Excellent technical skills in imaging technology.
• Proven ability to evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Experience in patient positioning for optimal imaging results.
• Ability to work flexible hours and cover shifts as needed.
