Role Overview: An MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI exams, ensuring high-quality imaging in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Maintain ARRT or equivalent certification, verify patient identity, prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, review images, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure timely completion of studies. Additional Duties: Educate and comfort patients, practice infection control, document procedures accurately, and follow protocols for coding and equipment maintenance. Qualifications & Skills: ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or cross-trained R, BLS certification, IV competency, anatomy knowledge, image evaluation, equipment operation, teamwork, communication, and safety awareness. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity, manual dexterity, patient transfer, walking, and standing, with the ability to handle heavy equipment and supplies. Ideal Candidate: 1-2 years MRI experience and a bachelor's degree are preferred. Overall, the role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, safety adherence, and teamwork to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.
