Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Select appropriate technical parameters for each scan
- Perform pre-screening and patient education
- Enter and monitor patient data
- Administer contrast media within scope of practice
- Ensure high-quality images are submitted promptly
- Maintain MRI equipment functionality
- Uphold a clean and safe environment
- Ensure accurate imaging and patient safety
- Maintain departmental cleanliness
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed
Requirements
- Completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program
- MRI credential from ARMRIT or ARRT within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform constant standing, walking, lifting, reaching, and data entry
- Proficiency in identifying colors
- Effective communication skills
- No prior experience required
