MRI Technologist

Join a dedicated imaging team as an MRI Technologist, responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images for patient care. Key Duties Include Preparing and positioning patients, selecting appropriate parameters to capture cross-sectional images.Performing patient pre-screening, education, and data entry.Administering contrast media or medications within scope and regulations.Ensuring high-quality images are submitted promptly to PACS, with correct markers and patient data.Maintaining equipment functionality and reporting issues.Keeping the department clean and organized, while adhering to safety protocols.Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications And Skills Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program.Certification from ARMRIT, ARRT, or equivalent within 12 months of hire.Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks regularly.Strong communication skills, attention to safety, and ability to work in a team. Additional Requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Ability to distinguish colors, utilize vision and hearing for diagnostics and safety.
