About the role

Last year our HCA Healthcare colleagues invested over 156,000 hours volunteering in our communities. As a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back, you will be responsible for reviewing and completing appropriate paperwork on every patient as required including exam, scheduling, physician orders, department logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.

You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from their rooms and ER, monitoring the equipment for mechanical safety, explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation, and positioning patients on examining table and adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by the Physician.

You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and completing appropriate paperwork on every patient as required
  • Transporting patients to and from their rooms and ER
  • Monitoring the equipment for mechanical safety
  • Explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation
  • Positioning patients on examining table and adjusting immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified areas of the body requested by the Physician
  • Working as a team player and meeting the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program is required
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is required
