Responsibilities
- Perform state-of-the-art MRI procedures with precision and confidence
- Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding
- Provide compassionate care, easing anxiety and maintaining patient privacy
- Position patients and operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize results
- Maintain equipment, ensuring safety and functionality
- Utilize advanced computer systems, including PACS and RIS, for smooth workflow
- Administer contrast media safely and effectively, following all protocols
- Be a vital part of emergency response when needed, demonstrating quick thinking and expertise
Qualifications
- Certified MRI Technologist with NYS Licensure and ARRT Certification
- Valid Intravenous Contrast Administration Certification
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in MRI
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and radiology procedures
- Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records
- BLS certification and excellent communication skills
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish or second language) are a plus!
