Job Summary
You will perform high-quality MRI examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Your responsibilities include preparing patients for scans, operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, capturing detailed images, greeting patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, documenting exams, and performing clerical duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI examinations
- Operate advanced MRI equipment
- Ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment
- Accurately capture detailed anatomical images
- Greet patients, visitors, staff, and physicians promptly and courteously
- Screens individuals by requesting to see identification or visitor pass
- Produces quality images within hospital guidelines and department standards
- Accurately completes documentation according to hospital and department guidelines
- Performs other clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- Four (4) years experience as a technician plus one (1) one modality OR three (3) years experience as a technician plus two (2) modalities
- Formal radiologic technology training program accredited through JRCERT and CDPH-RHB
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT)
- Fluoroscopy Permit
