MRI Technologist

About the role

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, perform diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.

• CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARMRIT Certification Upon Hire Preferred or
• CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARRT Certification Upon Hired Required or
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Musculoskeletal (MSK) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Board Registry 1 Year Required or
• CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (MRI) - ARMRIT American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Board Registry 1 Year Required or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association-Upon Hire Required or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Red Cross Upon Hire Required

Skills

• Knowledge of MRI techniques and equipment.
• Ability to follow patient-centered care philosophy.

Pay

Up to $20,000 sign-on bonus for external hires and internal new grads currently in a student role.
