MRI Technologist

About the role

The MRI Technologist provides patient services by performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. They operate MRI modalities under supervision, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and produce high-quality images.
• Assist and care for patients during imaging processes.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support diagnostic needs.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow regulatory standards.
• Support the imaging department with related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license with MR designation.
• National Registered Technologist - MRI or Certified MRI Technologist certification.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging and relevant experience.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and patient communication abilities.
