Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for scans
- Operate advanced MRI equipment
- Ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment
- Accurately capture detailed anatomical images
- Demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI
- Meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety
- Excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience
- Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family
- Performs complex specialized tasks associated with the operations of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special images of specific body parts
- Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance
- Starts IV’s and the injecting of contrast, if applicable per protocol
- Maintains records for compliance for JACHO and ACR accreditation
Requirements
- Required Associates Other (2 year program) or equivalent, upon hire
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, within 24 - months
Qualifications
Preferred 1-2 years MRI experience

Pay
$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
