MRI Technologist

About the role

Under the administrative supervision of the Director/Operations Supervisor and clinical guidance of the Radiologist/Team Leader, independently performs MRI imaging procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI procedures accurately and efficiently.
• May cross-train in other Diagnostic Imaging modalities based on departmental staffing needs.
• Maintain competencies in all modalities trained, ensuring certification renewals are completed annually.
• Work independently and cover on-call imaging responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

• Advanced MRI Certification required.
• Minimum of two months of experience to handle independent imaging tasks.
• Employees must stay current with certifications.

Skills

• Proficient in MRI technology and capable of working independently within six weeks of hire.
• Perform all modality-specific duties effectively.
