Position: MRI Technologist - Per Diem (Relief) Role Overview: Provide MRI imaging services with flexibility and variety across diverse patient populations. Prepare equipment, review patient info, operate MRI machinery, and ensure safety standards are met. Collaborate with physicians, support patients, and assist with clerical tasks as needed. Offer training to colleagues or students when required. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalentARRT certification in Radiography, MRI, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine; ARMRIT acceptableARRT (MR) certification within 6 months of hireBasic Life Support (BLS) certification1+ year of experience preferredStrong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety guidelinesProficiency with MRI software, PACS/RIS systemsAbility to provide age-appropriate patient care and venipuncture skills Key Responsibilities Set up and operate MRI equipment, ensuring quality and safetyReview patient history and collaborate with physicians to select appropriate examsSupport patients pre- and post-procedure, adjusting techniques as neededFollow all safety standards, including ACR guidelinesManage workflow and perform basic clerical dutiesContribute to team training and education Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay with shift differentials, 15% in lieu of benefits, and additional pay for harder shifts.
