Job Summary And Qualifications Provides quality Cat Scan/MRI exams for interpretation by the Radiologist. Maintain and apply current Cat Scan/MRI standards and clinical competency including age competency. Apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problem solve. Quality patient care, contrast media administration, quality control, patient documentation, record maintenance. Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families. Continue self-development, provide leadership and actively participate in offered performance improvement activities. Educates others as needed. Must have the ability to express ideas by means of the spoken word to others accurately, respectfully, loudly, and quickly. Visual acuity to analyze data and figures, including items seen on computer terminals and written pages. Considers age and physical status of patients to determine staffing requirements and to plan and deliver patient care in imaging areas. Participates in in-services and meetings. Direct caregiver. Monitors quality of care and seeks opportunity to make improvements. Participates in committees as necessary. Demonstrates organization ability and sound judgment. Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct).
