MRI Tech - Part Time - Carmel Valley

About the role
New Hire Incentive available up to $2,000 for those who qualify. This is a part-time position (40 hours per pay period) working 8-hour varied day shifts. Candidates must have flexibility to work throughout the week, including the ability to cover sick calls and PTO as needed. This position is based at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley.
Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley provides a “one-stop” health care experience for children and adults. Conveniently located off I-5 and Highway 56, we offer many of the services you need under one roof, including:
- Primary care
- Specialty care
- Ambulatory and blood tests/labs
The Following Are Not Eligible For Hiring Incentives:
- Internal candidates
- Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
- New Graduates (must have at least 1 year of MRI Tech experience)
In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
- Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
- Must remain in original department/specialty
- Must remain in original Job Title
- Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Requirements
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
- Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in the acute care departments
- Breast imaging and breast biopsies
- Siemens experience

$59.81-$86.71/hour
