MRI Technologist position in Beavercreek, full-time on the first shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows.
- Interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
- Perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety and comfort, and administer contrast media.
- Maintain MRI equipment and safety standards.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Document and manage patient information.
- Research implantable devices for MRI compatibility.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Assist with workflow and operational efficiency.
- Flexibility is essential; may require on-call availability and holiday coverage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate from an ARRT-accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from an ARMRIT-accredited MRI education program.
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (preferred) OR ARRT in Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine (N), Radiation Therapy (T), or Sonography (S) required, with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within 24 months of hire date.
- Current BLS certification required.

- Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters.
- Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety, including understanding research workflow for MRI safety requirements.
- Skilled in patient positioning and comfort while ensuring patient safety.
- Emergency response capabilities.
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Strong time management.
- Empathy and excellent patient care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
- Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of MRI experience.
