MRI Replacement – Port Charlotte

MLK Architecture is seeking a skilled professional to lead the redesign and renovation of the MRI Suite at our Port Charlotte location. This project involves replacing an existing MRI unit and reconfiguring the suite to improve workflow, staff efficiency, and patient experience.

About the role

The selected candidate will oversee the planning and execution of a temporary MRI trailer to ensure uninterrupted patient services during construction. The permanent suite will be redesigned to optimize spatial relationships, accessibility, and interior aesthetics, creating a modern, functional, and cohesive clinical environment. Updates will include the MRI control room and equipment modalities area.

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign and renovation of the MRI Suite to accommodate a new MRI unit.
• Plan and coordinate the setup of a temporary MRI trailer to maintain continuity of patient services during construction.
• Reconfigure the permanent suite to enhance workflow, staff efficiency, and patient experience.
• Update the MRI control room and equipment modalities area.
• Optimize spatial relationships, accessibility, and interior aesthetics for a modern clinical environment.
