MRB Engineer, Senior - Level 3
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering field.
- Experience with CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Unigraphics, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
- Experience providing engineering support for aircraft production, modification, or sustainment.
Job Description
You will be the MRB Engineer, Senior - Level 3 for the Material Review Board (MRB) team which is responsible for ensuring aircraft component compliance and quality.
What You Will Be Doing
As the MRB Engineer, Senior - Level 3 you will be responsible for leading material review activities that ensure aircraft component compliance and quality throughout the F‑35 production line.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Investigate anomalies, develop technical solutions, and release dispositions for high-performance aeronautical parts and assemblies.
- Cook up with cross-functional groups including Stress/Service Life, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures, Systems Design, Safety, Materials and Processes.
- Partner with the production floor and customer engineering staff to drive workflow improvements, embed best practices, and manage lessons learned.
- Provide MRB team coverage for off-shift and weekend support, and travel as needed for training and certification.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills
- Experience with CATIA V5 and Team Center.
- Experience with metallic and composite design and/or analysis.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Prior experience/role with MR Engineering signature authority.
- Strong internal and external customer focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
