About the role
First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Money Processing Center (MPC) Teller at our Maite Branch.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary).
Responsibilities
- Works with the department and operations managers, and supervisors to ensure adherence to all compliance, GLBA, audit, and security requirements, minimizing exposure to loss/liability.
- Performs teller functions in the daily support of the overall operations of the department.
- Accepts and processes deposits accurately.
- Redeems and calculates foreign currency/drafts for deposits.
- Turns in excess cash to vault throughout the day.
- Fulfills customer change orders accurately and timely.
- Cross trains in other processing areas.
Qualifications
- High school degree required.
- Prior teller or cash handling experience desirable.
- Ability to count and perform mathematical calculations.
- Proficiency in use of 10-key adding machine and typing.
- Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
