About the role

Precision Packouts is a growing contents and textiles restoration business that specializes in the recovery and restoration of personal and commercial property affected by fire, water, mold, and other disasters. Our mission is to provide top-tier restoration services while building long-term partnerships with restoration companies, insurance adjusters, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Moving and loading boxes and large items from customer locations and our warehouse
• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Correctly wrap and package contents to prevent damage during transport
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition

Qualifications

• Experience as a mover preferred
• Must be able to identify product (consumables), usage, and disposal requirements with training
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz’s vehicle policy
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move between 25-75 pounds
• Stand, walk, bend, sit, see, use hands and fingers to type on keyboard and handle material, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear
• Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions
• Subject to atmospheric conditions affecting the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases and/or poor ventilation
• Subject to extreme cold: temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour
• Subject to extreme heat: temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour
• Subject to hazards including moving vehicles, heavy objects overhead and exposure to chemicals
• Occasionally required to wear a respirator

Compensation

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
