This is a paid freelance remote position. This role does not involve video production, video editing, screenwriting, or writing reviews.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit and publish Movie features articles daily
• Participate in writer development by providing feedback and direction
• Work with new writers to develop their skills and help them adapt to Screen Rant's standards
• Ideate topics daily on classic movies, new movies, and streaming movies
• Develop content plans for upcoming major releases
• Attend meetings and come prepared with notes and analyses

Skills and experience

• Relevant experience in senior writing and editing roles (digital publications, entertainment content)
• An understanding of feature content
• Expert knowledge on Film
• Quick learner with a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent command of the English language
• Ability to write articles free of typos and grammatical errors
