Mover / Laborer
About the role
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is now hiring dedicated team members to provide packing, moving, transporting, and assembly services. This job involves more than just physical labor; it also requires excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings.
- Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the premises.
- Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with customers.
- Aid the driver with truck inspections and moving equipment inventory.
- Accurately complete paperwork and collect payments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, manufacturing, production, customer service, or warehouse.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and regular drug screening.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional attitude and demeanor.
- Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs or more) repeatedly.
Qualifications
This position is open to individuals who are enthusiastic about providing top-notch customer service and have the physical ability to handle demanding tasks. No prior experience is necessary; we offer comprehensive training.
Skills
While experience is helpful, we prioritize candidates who can demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
