Mover - Installer

Location: Emory & Henry College

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule

• Weekdays – morning and afternoon/evening shifts

Pay

$14.00 per hour - $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Move office, conference room, event, or other furniture, such as desks, chairs, cabinets, easels, bookcases, etc. within rooms and/or across site and between buildings
• Disconnect and reconnect existing IT equipment
• Assemble and disassemble modular furniture systems as directed
• Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements

Requirements

• At least 6 months of work experience preferred
• Capacity to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours and reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull and frequently lift 40 or more pounds
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver license required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
