MOVER

Starting salary: $13–$15 per hour. Hours and schedule are as needed; typical start time is 7:30 a.m. but will vary. Occasional work after regular business hours and/or on weekends is required.

About the role

The Mover provides outstanding customer service and physically moves items during the move. You will report directly to the crew leader at all job sites and work independently or with other team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and welcoming demeanor with customers at all times.
• Prepare items for transport to and from the moving truck.
• Safely carry items to the moving truck as instructed by the crew leader, ensuring no damage to items, premises, or persons.
• Pack items into boxes while preventing damage.
• Communicate positively and professionally with other crew members.
• Perform other duties necessary for a move as directed by the crew leader.
• Arrive on time for moves and maintain a positive, professional demeanor throughout.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills, including patience and a positive demeanor.
• Ability to safely and consistently lift at least 50 lbs.
• Experience in moving and/or customer service.
• Proficiency, or desire to learn, the intricacies of moving and a professional moving company.
