Miraval Berkshires is seeking a commissioned based Movement & Motivation Instructor that requires the availability to work Sundays. A Movement & Motivation Instructor is responsible for leading individuals or groups in exercise activities designed to improve overall health, fitness, and well-being. They develop and deliver safe, effective, and engaging workout programs, demonstrate proper exercise techniques, monitor participant performance, and provide motivation and support to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Demonstrated relative experience in a Health & Wellness fields to include: yoga, meditation and fitness. Experience in proper use and management of cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration and teamwork. A commitment to making an active and meaningful contribution to the culture of the team. The individual should be capable of lifting moderate loads and performing equipment set-ups for various activities. One or more professional fitness certifications accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) such as NASM, NSCA, ACE, ACSM, AFAA in Group Fitness (Personal Training in addition is a plus) and American Red Cross AED, CPR and First Aid certification.
