About the role
This full-time, outpatient-only position is for a Fellowship-Trained Movement Disorders Neurologist within the Sentara Medical Group (SMG) Division of Neurology. The successful candidate will obtain an EVMS faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology and will be employed by SMG with a joint EVMS faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients within the Lawrence J. Goldrich Institute for Integrated Neuro-Health.
- Support the existing SMG program, including comprehensive clinics for Parkinson’s and Huntington’s disease patients, and a busy Botox clinic for dystonia.
- Collaborate with functional neurosurgery to participate in an active Deep Brain Stimulation and Focused Ultrasound program.
- Engage in an active clinical trial program.
