Mount View Care Center Wisconsin Valley Fair outing

Mount View Care Center will be taking residents to the Wisconsin Valley Fair in August and is looking for volunteers to help with pushing residents around the fairground.

About the Opportunity

Volunteers will provide residents with an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful community event. Each volunteer will be paired one-on-one with a resident and push them in a wheelchair around the fairgrounds, taking in the sights, sounds, and smells.

Transportation to and from the facility to the fairgrounds is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents by pushing wheelchairs around the fairgrounds
• Engage with residents to enhance their experience at the fair

Requirements

• Open to teens, groups, individuals 55+, and corporate groups
• No prior experience necessary
