About the Role
Assemble power-distribution products and help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric chain hoists, hand-operated hoists, and power-distribution systems under the supervision of the Motor Department Lead.
Responsibilities
- Check, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric chain hoists, hand-operated hoists, and power-distribution systems in a demanding market.
- Follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
- Operate test equipment when needed.
- Solder and de-solder wires and electronic components.
- Maintain a working knowledge of regulations and safety policies to ensure duties are performed safely.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Familiarity with soldering, use of a multimeter, and standard tools.
- Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to meet expected quality and quantity levels.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and general assembly techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees.
- Basic knowledge of computers and 3-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams.
- Lifting and physical labor is required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Technical school training.
- Some experience working with electrical equipment.
