About the Role

Assemble power-distribution products and help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric chain hoists, hand-operated hoists, and power-distribution systems under the supervision of the Motor Department Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Check, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electric chain hoists, hand-operated hoists, and power-distribution systems in a demanding market.
  • Follow procedures and diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
  • Operate test equipment when needed.
  • Solder and de-solder wires and electronic components.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of regulations and safety policies to ensure duties are performed safely.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with soldering, use of a multimeter, and standard tools.
  • Attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy to meet expected quality and quantity levels.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and general assembly techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Ability to read basic wiring diagrams.
  • Lifting and physical labor is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Technical school training.
  • Some experience working with electrical equipment.
