Motorcycle Sales Associate

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Salary: Commission sales position with commission of 20% according to terms of pay plan, with average total monthly compensation of $5,000-$8,000 and increased earnings potential based on productivity/number of sales.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Industry-leading PTO accrual of 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Extensive health benefits starting the first month after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, Health Savings and Flexible Spending accounts, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and a robust 401(k) plan for retirement planning.
  • Paid Holidays: At least 2 paid holidays per year to Motorcycle Sales Associates subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy.

Responsibilities

  • Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
  • Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
  • Sells/leases and delivers a minimum of 10 units per month.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
  • Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
  • Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
  • Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up system.
  • Exhibits a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
  • Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
  • Team player, willing to work in a team-oriented process, with a positive attitude.
  • Skill and ability to sell.
  • Maintain clean driving record and be insurable with company insurance.
