About the Role

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience operating a Motor Grader in heavy civil construction
• Skilled in the operation, adjustment, and routine maintenance of motor graders
• Solid understanding of grading techniques and construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to all safety standards and regulations
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different terrain types and project sites
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders with accuracy to achieve project specifications and blueprint requirements
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all company and regulatory safety procedures
• Conduct routine equipment checks, cleaning, and lubrication; promptly report any mechanical concerns
• Ensure grading quality and compliance with project standards
• Work collaboratively with operators, laborers, supervisors, and other crew members
• Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisors to support efficient project progress
• Follow all applicable regulations and industry best practices
• Troubleshoot and address operational issues encountered during grading activities
• Keep accurate daily records, including equipment inspections and work logs

Schedule

• 10-hour shift
• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
