Motor Equipment Operator- Streets & Drainage

About the role

The successful candidate will operate various motorized maintenance equipment and assist in road and drainage construction activities under close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dump truck, vactor truck, tractor and boom, dresser loader, and numerous small tools and equipment.
• Lift and carry weights of ten to one hundred pounds.
• Participate in classroom training at Horry Georgetown Technical College.
• Receive assisted driving on the road with experienced drivers.
• Learn and practice vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Complete all assigned tasks and training modules within the program timeline.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
