Motor Assembler - 1st Shift

Brief Description

• Pull motor parts for motor assembly.
• Assemble and test motors per work order instructions.
• Inspect motors and diagnose any possible defects.
• Perform work related to maintaining 5S program (housekeeping).
• Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, gainsharing, and cost-saving programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous assembly experience preferred. Electrical wiring background beneficial.

Skills and Key Attributes

• Ability to read drawings, blue-prints, and wiring diagnosis.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be detail oriented.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet and move around for up to 8-12 hours per day.

Schedule

The 1st shift schedule runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30pm.
