Motion Graphics Designer

Responsibilities

• Receiving a complex Illustrator project, prepping it for animation in After Effects, and confidently bringing the scene to life with keyframed properties and effects
• Be able to fill in gaps during the animation process; e.g., recreate existing elements in new perspectives as needed
• Create rough animatics/motion sketches to demonstrate concepts; this work would be used in pitch decks and needs to be executed quickly
• Comfortably flexing between projects for different brands with distinct design systems daily

Requirements

• At least 1-2+ years of animation and motion design experience
• Contemporary, fun design and animation style
• Strong executional skills
• Portfolio of work that demonstrates excellent sense of timing, detail and animation fundamentals
• Strong understanding of working file builds
• Excellent Illustrator, Photoshop and AfterEffects skills; 3D skills (Cinema 4D or Blendr) are a plus but not required!
• Excited to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
• Curious, inquisitive and eager to learn and build skills
• Own laptop!
