Motion Designer, Performance Creative - Temporary Worker
Remote role based in the USA, West Coast preferred. Must be available to work during PST hours. W2 employment on dentsu payroll only.
About the role
Hands-on motion designer with strong conceptualization skills and experience using AI tools. This role focuses on designing and animating motion graphics for client deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Creates 3D stage renderings, 2D graphics, animations, and storyboards aligned with client requests and brand guidelines
- Develops graphic templates for easy use by other team members and client teams or partner agencies
- Collaborates with internal creative teams to ensure consistency across mediums
- Provides graphic support for editors (lower thirds, logo intros, special effects, etc.)
- Stays current with software and design trends to incorporate best practices
- Applies knowledge across multiple motion design disciplines (animation, audio, editing, etc.)
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an advertising or agency setting
- 4–7 years of total professional experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Products (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Mastery of Adobe After Effects for creating compelling animations
- Experience working seamlessly in Cinema 4D
- Experience with AR filters preferred
Work Arrangement
Employees within commutable distance of dentsu hub offices (Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, New York City) are required to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for Los Angeles-based employees). Remote designation may apply for those outside commutable range, depending on role and business needs. Flexibility is expected to meet company and client needs, which may include in-office attendance.
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $111,780.00 – $149,040.00. The final rate is based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
