About the role

The RN II/Relief Staff Leader (RSL) provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. This role delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.
• Delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
• As assigned, provides department/shift leadership in RSL role.

Requirements

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
