MOT Principal Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Consumer Technology space, we are seeking a MOT Principal Engineer to lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. This role offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for Maintenance of Traffic on large transportation programs
• Develop project-wide MOT strategies for major corridors
• Lead and oversee MOT design teams ensuring quality and innovation
• Conduct risk assessments related to work zone traffic operations
• Support pursuit teams by developing MOT strategies for proposals
• Interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on MOT issues
• Review and approve MOT deliverables ensuring quality standards
• Mentor and develop future MOT leaders within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 10 to 12 years of extensive experience in Maintenance of Traffic planning and design
• Recognized expertise in MUTCD and state DOT MOT standards
• Demonstrated experience leading MOT on mega-projects
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Pay

$103,500 – $181,100 annually
