Mosquito & Pest Control Field Technician

Responsibilities

Driving to clients’ homes and businesses
Inspecting yards for conditions conducive to pest infestations
Applying control products using a backpack sprayer and other equipment
Creating protective barriers around homes to reduce future infestations
Educating clients on prevention and outdoor pest protection
Supporting local marketing efforts by distributing yard signs or door hangers
Providing a positive and professional customer experience every time

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Have proof of insurance (if required)
• Be able to lift at least 45 pounds and carry a backpack sprayer
• Enjoy working outdoors and being on the move
• Communicate well with clients and teammates
• Be dependable and self-motivated
• Be willing to take a state pest control licensing exam
