Mosquito Control Technician PT

About the Role

Trained expert who provides a remarkable client experience through varied responsibilities in mosquito control and related services.

Responsibilities

• Distribute door hangers and yard signs
• Travel to each client's home or business
• Survey each property
• Treat standing water with larvicide
• Apply a barrier treatment to the surrounding landscaping using a backpack sprayer
• Participate in marketing initiatives
• Install holiday lighting

Schedule

Full-time and part-time opportunities available. This is a seasonal opportunity that runs through the end of mosquito season, with a start date in February or March.

This position services the south Houston, Pasadena, Clear Lake, and La Porte areas.

Pay

Meaningful compensation starting at $16 per hour plus bonuses. Bonus opportunities and generous pay raises over time are available.

Requirements

• No prior experience necessary
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
• Be comfortable driving throughout the workday
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Be energetic, hardworking, and reliable
• Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excel in a position of independence and responsibility
